Thoughts From God’s Word – Revelation 5:1-14

In Revelation chapter 5 verses 1 through 14, we see a vivid picture of the worship happening in heaven. We see the scroll sealed with seven seals, representing God’s plan for redemption. But no one is found worthy to open it until Jesus steps forward as the Lamb who was slain.

Then we see the angels and elders fall down in worship, singing praises to the Lamb who is worthy to honor, glory, and praise.

This should remind us of the role of Jesus in God’s plan of salvation, Jesus’ authority and power over all creation, that our worship should be centered on Him alone. Folks, no matter what challenges you face, Jesus reigns victorious and is worthy of all our praise. So, lift up your voice in worship and adoration to the Lamb, who was slain for your salvation.
