Thoughts From God’s Word – Revelation 12

In Revelation chapter 12, we witness a cosmic battle between good and evil. A woman representing God’s people gives birth to a child destined to rule. This symbolizes hope and divine purpose amidst chaos.

But then, the dragon—representing Satan—attacks, seeking to devour the child. This reminds us that spiritual warfare is real and relentless. Yet, the child is caught up to God, illustrating that God’s protection prevails over evil.

The chapter also highlights the victory of believers through the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. It’s a powerful reminder that our faith and resilience in Jesus Christ are our greatest weapons against darkness.

As we face our own battles, let’s hold on to this promise: no matter how fierce the opposition, God’s ultimate victory is assured. We are not alone; we are part of a larger story where hope triumphs over despair.
