Thoughts From God’s Word – Revelation 22:7-21

We’re at the end of the book of Revelation, and in chapter 22, verses 7 through 21,   Jesus said I am coming soon, and He’s reminding us of the importance of staying faithful and righteous. He says, “Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book.” This is a powerful reminder that we need to be prepared for His return at any moment.

Jesus also emphasizes the importance of living a holy life, saying, “Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.” This shows us that our actions matter and that we should strive to live in a way that honors God.

And finally, Jesus ends with a promise of hope and assurance, saying, “Yes, I am coming soon.” He reminds us that He is the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. And He invites us to come and drink from the water of life freely.

So take these words to heart and live each day in anticipation of His return. Strive to keep His commandments and live holy lives, knowing that He is faithful and true. Remember,

Jesus is coming soon, morning or night or noon
Many will meet their doom, trumpets will sound
All of the dead shall rise, righteous meet in the skies
Going where no one dies, heavenward bound
Jesus is coming soon!

Have a blessed day!
