As I was reading this morning, Psalm 131 stood out, and it says…
“O LORD, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me. But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.”
These two verses reminded me that true peace comes from surrendering our ambitions and desires to God. When we quiet our hearts and stop striving for control, we can find rest in God’s presence. Just focus on what truly matters… our relationship with God and the simple joys of life. Remember, it’s not about having all the answers, it’s about trusting God who does.
Have a blessed day!
