Folks, there was a time when I felt so clear about my purpose and God’s calling for my life. It was like I had this direct line to what God wanted me to do. But here lately, I’ve been feeling uncertain.
When Kimmie and I talk about it, or should i say an attempt to talk about it, she keeps telling me, “That isn’t like you.” And she’s right. I’ve always been confident in my path, but now I’m questioning everything.
Then lo, and behold, as I open God’s Word to read tonight, it opened to Romans chapter 11, and verse 29 stared right into my eyes. “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” I could hear God speaking to my heart…. “Bobby, just because you’re in a season of doubt doesn’t mean that your gifts and calling are gone. I didn’t change My mind about you, you did! They are still there, waiting for you to embrace them. I’m with you every step of the way!
Well folks, God does speak to us through His Word! It’s time to step out in faith! Have a blessed evening!
