Faith and Family

I’m sitting here at the hospital thinking about family, I think it’s something you do more and more as you get older.

As Believers, our first and primary mission field is our family. We often think of mission work as something that happens overseas or in far-off communities, but the truth is, our most significant impact begins at home.

Every day, I have the opportunity to share my faith with my family, Kimmie, my kids, my grandkids, and even extended family members. It’s in these relationships that I can live out the teachings of Jesus Christ in a tangible way. When I show love, patience, and grace to my loved ones, I’m not just practicing my faith, I’m also setting an example for them to follow.

We need to remember that our families are watching us closely. They notice how we handle struggles, celebrate joys, and interact with one another. By showing Jesus Christ’s love and living by His teachings, we can influence their hearts and minds profoundly.

Have a blessed day!
