Matthew tells us in chapter 22 of Jesus being questioned by the religious leaders. Jesus’ answer shoild reminds us of the importance of knowing God’s Word and understanding His power. Jesus replied to them in verse 29,
“Your mistake is that you don’t know the Scriptures, and you don’t know the power of God.”
When you’re rooted in the Scriptures, you are less likely to be led astray by false teachings or misconceptions. By seeking to know God more deeply through His Word, you can experience His power working in your lives and grow in your faith.
