Thoughts From 1 John 2:6

As I was reading this morning 1 John 2:6 got me thinking about what it truly means to follow Jesus, how can I better reflect Jesus in my daily walk, what steps can I take to make my life mirrors His. Verse 6 says…

“Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.”

To follow Jesus means to remain connected to Him, to live in His presence daily. It’s not just about attending church or reading the Bible occasionally, it’s about having a relationship that transforms us from the inside out. If we claim to follow Him, our lives should reflect His character and actions. Jesus walked in love, compassion, humility, and obedience to the Father. So, when we say we’re following Him, we are embodying those same qualities. Walking as He walked does challenge us to examine our choices and behaviors. Remember, it’s not just about what you believe. it’s about how you live out what you believe.
