Happy Thanksgiving to all my family, friends, and followers!
In 1st Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 18 Paul tells us to “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
Notice Paul doesn’t say “give thanks FOR all circumstances,” but IN all circumstances. This isn’t about pretending everything is perfect. It’s about recognizing that during our difficulties, our challenges, and even our sadness, God is still present, and He is still working.
Think about this….the food on your table represents hard work, provision, and blessings. The presence of your family and friends is a gift. Even the challenges you’ve faced this year has brought you growth, strength, and a deeper appreciation for what truly matters.
Folks, as you celebrate today, share your thankfulness, not just for the obvious blessings, but for the lessons learned, the strength gained, and the unwavering love of God that sustains you.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
