Thoughts from Ecclesiastes 1:9

I’ve been thinking this morning and most of the afternoon on what I read in Ecclesiastes chapter 1. In verse 9, Solomon tells us, “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” That sounds a little discouraging doesn’t it, like everything’s just a repetitive cycle. But, here is the truth, knowing this, we can rely on God’s unchanging grace to guide us through. Folks, God has seen it all before, and His love is the constant in a world of repetition. Lean on that!
