We are back to normal! Yep, the grandkids went home. They really missed their mom and dad, and was happy to see them. To tell ya the truth, so was me and Kimmie! Just kidding… or am I? I did get a little on my Cross of Faith necklaces. Anyway, as I was doing my morning reading of God’s Word, Psalm 141:3 got me thinking about how I find myself in situations where words can either uplift or tear down someone.
“Take control of what I say, O LORD, and guard my lips.”
We all know how easy it is to let our emotions take control and say things we might regret later. But, when I ask God to set a guard over my mouth, I’m saying that I need His wisdom, His guidance and to fill my mind and heart with His word so that when I speak, it overflows with His truth. Remember folks, your words reflect your heart, and have the power to shape not just your life but the lives of those around me.
Y’all have a blessed evening!
