Daily Thoughts – 7 Jan 2026

I have three words to share with you…No Walmart today! I know, hard to believe! I spent most of the day working on crosses and Bible study. We’re starting Romans tomorrow night at Bible study at Hardee’s in Leadington, starts at 7 PM so stop on by and join us. As I was reading chapter 1, a word in verse 7 caught my attention.

“To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Romans 1:7

Can you guess what word it is? Paul addresses the believers in Rome as “saints” and uses it to describe all who are in Christ Jesus. Folks, this includes you and me! Being a saint means we are set apart by God, chosen to reflect His glory in our everyday lives. As saints, we are called to live in a way that honors God. That means having a lifestyle that is characterized by love, grace, and righteousness. We are no longer defined by our past mistakes or failures but by our relationship with Jesus Christ. When others see us living out our faith authentically, they get to see God’s love and grace in action. Yes, we may stumble and fall at times, but God’s grace and mercy gives us the opportunity to grow closer to Him and reflect His character more fully.

Remember, you’re not a sinner anymore (a person who is disobedient and rebellious toward God), He has made us holy! You are a saint…now go shine your light!

Y’all have a blessed evening!
