I guess y’all know by now that we got a wee bit of snow and some nice Arctic air. Being that cold outside, Kimmie and I knew our best bet was to stay inside and make the best of it. We made sure we were stocked up with all the essentials…. Dr.Pepper, chips, Lil Debbie snack cakes, and enough fuel for the auxiliary heaters. Kimmie has been handling real good… watching TV with Abby, coloring, playing cards, cooking some fantastic dinners, and of course studying the Bible. Me on the other hand, not so well! I know better than to go out in this beautiful weather that God blessed us with, because I could fall. Well, guess what…. I didn’t have to go outside for that, I tripped over a 150 pound Bermese Mountain Dog(Bruno) and re-injured my knee and hip. I know what you’re thinking… how did I trip over something that big? Well, I broke my glasses a couple days ago and I’m wearing an old pair that I had, so my excuse is… I didn’t see him, I literally didn’t see him. By the way it didn’t phase him at all. He just looked at me like I was crazy. So, I’m just mopping around the house trying to get Kimmie to feel sorry for me, and she ain’t buying it. Well folks, that’s about it for the life and times of Kimmie and Bobby! So, I’ll leave you with a verse from Psalms where God says, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” Folks, God invites us to reach out to Him when we’re in need, and He’s ready to deliver us from whatever challenges we face. Remember, we’re never alone in our struggles. Just trust in His promise to deliver you.
Have a blessed evening and stay warm!
