Daily Thoughts – 24 Feb 2026

Not a bad day today. Got up early, yep, I’ve been getting up early for about a week now, took my grandson Nik to get his hair cut at Johnny’s Barber Shop in Desloge. If you need a great haircut, he’s the man.

Kimmie and me came back home and I spent the rest of the day studying, woking on my book, and did a little woodworking. Anyway, as I reading this morning Proverbs 24:12 got me thinking about accountability and the importance of our actions.

“Don’t excuse yourself by saying, “Look, we didn’t know.” For God understands all hearts, and he sees you. He who guards your soul knows you knew. He will repay all people as their actions deserve.”

We may try to justify our inaction or our choices by claiming we didn’t know better, but ignorance is not an excuse. God, who knows our hearts, sees beyond our excuses. He understands our intentions and the choices we make, even when we think we’re hidden from being accountable. Believe it or not, our choices do have consequences, both in this life and beyond. So folks, be mindful of your actions and their impact. Seek God’s wisdom in your decisions and remember that He sees you fully…. inside and out.

Y’all have a blessed evening!
