It’s April 1st and time to start a new reading plan. I thought since Jesus quoted from Deuteronomy around 20 times, that I would spend this month studying it. Since there is 34 chapters and 30 days in April, I’ll have read 2 chapters on a couple days, the 4 shorter ones, 27, 30, 33, and 34. As I study each chapter I’ll be asking myself these 3 questions (as I normally do when I read).
What lesson am I supposed to learn from this?
How can I apply that lesson to my life?
How does this help me to draw closer to God?
By the way today is the Jewish day of Nisan 14th. On this day in 30AD, 1,996 years ago, our Lord and Savior Jesus, was crucified for our sins and the sins of the world. Jesus died around 3 in the afternoon and was put into the tomb just before sunset. At sunset tonight begins the 1st day of Unleaven Bread or Passover, and is when they ate the Passover meal. It is also a high day or Sabbath, there is 2 Sabbaths that week. The apostle John talks about that. Here is what is cool… the timing of the events this year corresponds with 30 AD. A great subject to study.
Well that’s all for now, y’all have a blessed day!
A New Month

I’m just getting ready to head into Deuteronomy. Have a beautiful Easter… hugs
