Thoughts from Deuteronomy 4

What if every miracle, every law, every warning in Scripture had one clear purpose… so you would know God is God! Guess what, as I was reading Deuteronomy chapter 4 this morning verse 35 says it plainly…

“To you it was shown, that you might know that the LORD Himself is God; there is none other besides Him.”

In this chapter Moses isn’t giving a history lesson, he’s reminding a people shaped by deliverance and covenant why those events matter. The sights they saw, the plagues, the deliverance, the presence at Sinai wasn’t theater… it was revelation. God made himself known so trust could follow.

The truth is simple… there is one true God, and every choice you make must be measured against that reality. So folks, remember God’s faithful acts in your life. Measure your priorities against the claim that God alone is God. Dismantle practical idols, the things you lean on for security, identity, or meaning. Respond with obedience, not anxious striving. Speak back to doubt with the record of revelation… Scripture, Christ, and the work of God in your story. Live as if God is truly God… that’s the point Moses drove home and it’s the point that still matters.

Y’all have a blessed evening!

  1. Not always easy but through Christ we can do all things according to God’s will and purpose for our life. God’s will is your salvation through Christ. We can do all things- your purpose in life in God’s timing. Blessings.
