Bible Study and Woodworking

What activities do you lose yourself in?

For me, it’s Bible study and woodworking.

Bible study is more than just reading, it’s a journey into understanding deeper meanings and exploring faith. Every verse has layers to uncover, and I often find myself reflecting on how these teachings apply to my life. Whether it’s a quiet morning or a late-night session, immersing myself in scripture brings clarity and peace. It’s a chance to step away from the chaos of life and focus on something profoundly meaningful.

When I’m in my workshop, it’s just me and the wood. There’s something satisfying about transforming a piece of wood into something beautiful and functional.  It’s therapeutic, I just lose myself in the rhythm of every cut, sanding, shaping… It’s music to my ears.

No matter if I’m reading my Bible or working on a new project, I find fulfillment that enriches my life.

Y’all have a blessed day!
