Over the years I’ve had many conversations with Believers about how weighed down they felt about their past mistakes and wondered if they were even forgiven. Folks, that is a common tactic of Satan, he is trying to deceive you into not trusting what God’s Word says. Psalm 103:12 reminds us that, “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” Think about it for a minute… the east and west never meet, that’s a distance you can’t even comprehend! That’s how completely God removes our sins. When we come to God with a repentant heart, He doesn’t just overlook our sins. He casts them away. It’s not just about forgiveness, it’s about total separation from our past failures. Remember, you are not defined by your past mistakes but by God’s infinite mercy. So, walk boldly into your future, knowing that your sins are as far away as the east is from the west. Trust in His promises, and allow His love to transform your heart.
