I Tried

Today started out half way good….. Kimmie wanted to go grocery shopping, actually she meant, hey, let’s go to Walmart and spend lots of money on food. We got there and I decided I was going to try to go in with her. Well, I didn’t last long walking and had to go out and sit in the Jeep. While I was out there it gave me time to think about what I read in Ecclesiastes chapter 5 this morning. Solomon gave some good insights about life, wealth, and my relationship with God. But, I guess what Solomon was saying about how life is being unpredictable kind of stuck in my mind. When I made plans to go inside Walmart with Kimmie to grocery shop, but the outcome was beyond my control. I started hurting and could barely walk. Folks, it does humble and teaches me to embrace life’s uncertainty with God’s grace, and to appreciate all the blessings around me.
