Another Unplanned Day

Today was a busy day, didn’t plan on it to be that way, my plan was to take my daughter Megan to urgent care to get a wound taken care of, come home and get some cross necklaces ready to be mailed to a friend in Ontario. But, circumstances changed all that. Kim needed to go to Walgreen and Dollar Tree, Megan needed to go to Walmart after urgent care, my niece Kayla need to go to the DMV for a new ID for she can start a new job. So, you guessed it, I had a lot of time to think about what I read this morning in Ecclesiastes chapter 6, where Solomon talks about our human experience and the idea of contentment. As i was thinking about Solomon’s words, I remembered what Paul said, “I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.” Over the years I’ve learned that true contentment comes from accepting my circumstances rather than constantly striving for something beyond my reach. You know folks, it’s about finding peace in the present moment and recognizing that life’s meaning often lies in the journey itself, not just the destination.

Y’all have a blessed evening!
