Daily Thoughts – 28 Feb 2026

It’s Saturday and another week is almost over. Kimmie and me had rough times and some good times. As I was reflecting on everything that we went through this week, how we surrendered everything to God and put our trust in Him, I was reminded what Psalm 37:5 says about the importance of surrendering our plans and desires to God.

“Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.”
Psalm 37:5

Committing our way isn’t just about making a quick decisions, it’s about an ongoing process of aligning our lives with God’s purpose. When we commit our ways to Him, we’re essentially saying, God, I trust You with my life. Trust is foundational in our relationship with God. It requires faith, especially when the path ahead seems uncertain or challenging. Trusting God… believing that He knows what’s best for us, even when we can’t see the bigger picture. It’s about letting go of our anxieties and placing our confidence in His perfect plan.

Here is the best part, when we commit and trust, God promises to respond. He doesn’t leave us hanging, He takes action on our behalf. Now, this doesn’t always mean things will go as we expect. Sometimes His actions look different than what we envisioned. But rest assured, His ways are higher than ours.

Folks, I want to encourage you to reflect on what it means to commit your way to the Lord. Are there areas in your life where you’re holding back? What would it look like to fully trust Him? Remember, when you bring your plans to God and trust in His guidance, He will act in ways that are beyond your imagination.

Y’all have a blessed evening!
