Daily Thoughts – 31 Dec 2025

Took Kimmie and Megan to Walmart this afternoon, and as I was waiting for them I began to think about my last post of the year. Sitting out in my Jeep gave me some quiet time to reflect on this years journey and the lessons I’ve learned. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven”, reminding me that each year brings its own challenges and blessings, shaping me into who I am meant to be. When I think about all the ups and downs I’ve experienced, every triumph was a gift, and every setback was an opportunity for growth. Just as Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages me to trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding, I can look back and see how my faith has guided me through uncertainty. With the encouraging words of Paul, “but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,  I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” I will step into the new year and bid farewell to this year, and take time to thank God for every experience that has shaped me, and to commit to moving forward with confidence, knowing that God has great plans for me ahead. Remember folks, every ending is just a new beginning waiting to unfold. Here’s to a blessed new year filled with promise and purpose!
