Daily Thoughts – 27 Jan 2026

Well, another day of sleeping till noon, it is getting old staying up all night and sleeping all day, I guess I should be use to it by now, been dealing with Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) every year, every winter, for years. During this time I feel like Paul and I take to heart the words our Lord said to encourage him..”My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” When you think about it, God’s unmerited favor and divine help are enough to sustain us through any hardship.

One good thing about this time of year is I get to spend quiet time with God every night. I guess you can say I’m living out Psalm 46:10 where God says, “Be still, and know that I am God!” In the quiet of the night, I can truly get know Him. I start recognizing God’s presence, His sovereignty, His power, His peace, His strength, His unwavering love, and I remember that He is in control.

So folks, be still, know that He is God, and trust that, He is with you.
