Daily Thoughts – 23 Feb 2026

Last week was joyful and stressful. Joyful because our son, Lee was released after serving 6 years. Stressful because we had to find a transitional living program for him and it wasn’t going well. Kimmie and me both know to give all our problems to God.

Philippians 4:6-7 tells us not to “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

You know what? As we trusted Him, everything started to align with His plan. It’s incredible how that works! The challenges we faced began to transform into opportunities for growth and learning. What seemed like setbacks were actually stepping stones toward something greater.

Folks, if you’re going through a tough time right now, remember this… Trusting God doesn’t mean the problems will disappear overnight, but it does mean that He’s working behind the scenes for your good. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep surrendering your worries to Him, and remember, you’re never alone in this journey….. God is always with you!

By the way, after a relaxing the weekend, I’m enjoying the evening listening to some Southern Gospel music and making Cross of Faith necklaces.

Have a blessed evening!
