Daily Thoughts – 4 Mar 2026

Yesterday was a pretty good day! Woke up early, did my Bible study, and did some woodworking. We’ll have to see how today goes. Anyway, as I was reading yesterday, I was in Matthew chapters 11 through 16. In chapter 16 verse 13, Jesus asks His disciples a powerful question, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” The disciples gave various answers who people thought Jesus was, but then He turns to them and asks, “But what about you? Who do you say I am?”

Of all the disciples, Peter boldly declares, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus responds to Peter by saying that this revelation was not revealed by flesh and blood but by His Father in heaven. Peter recognized Jesus’ true identity and mission. Knowing who Jesus is goes beyond hearsay or popular opinion, it requires a personal encounter and relationship with Him. Just like Peter, we must answer that question for ourselves. Who do we say Jesus is?

Folks, Who do you say Jesus is? Your answer can change everything, your life, your relationships, and your purpose.

Y’all have a blessed evening!

  1. I have been watching a pastor preach on the names of God. When we get curious enough to research who God really is, who Jesus is, and who the Holy Spirit is, we began to realize the authentic truth about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit that draws us closer to Them and helps us understand just how powerful They are as we travel this journey on earth.
