Haven’t post in a few days, been busy with family and church. We all know family and church comes first before social media. We’ll some of us do!
Today, I got my granddaughter Allie all setup with her mental health professionals. Got the final article wrote for church’s new bylaws. I forgot how much time it took to write the first one, but God guided me through it. Got 1 Sunday school lesson wrote on The Life and Times of Jesus. But, I didn’t get any cross necklaces made. The best of all… didn’t have to go to Walmart, they came to me!
Anyway, as I was reading Deuteronomy chapter 13 this morning verse 4 reminded me that true security and joy are found in clinging to God.
“You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him.”
Deuteronomy 13:4
Walking after Him…following His direction, not our own. Fearing Him…respecting His power and authority. Keeping His Commandments…living according to His Word. Obeying His Voice…listening for and heeding His guidance. Serving Him… putting His will above our own desires. Folks, that is what it means to cling to God! Is there anything in your life pulling you away from Him?
