In my journey through Psalm 119, today’s stop off was verse 15…
“I will meditate on Your precepts, And contemplate Your ways.”
Psalm 119:15
Now that’s a spiritual habit to have… meditating and contemplating on God’s Word!. To meditate on God’s precepts is more than just reading His Word, it’s thoughtfully reflecting on His commands, His promises, and His teachings so that they will shape our hearts and guide our daily lives. By continually pondering God’s Word, we deepen our relationship with Him and align our thoughts and actions with His will. This habit will strengthen our faith and will help us from being distracted by the cares and temptations of the world, and to make wise, and godly decisions.
Folks, set aside time to meditate on a verse or passage from the Bible. As you do, ask God to help you understand His ways and to live them out faithfully. When challenges arise, remember to fix your eyes on Him, trusting that His precepts are a lamp to your feet and a light to your path!
Have a blessed evening!
