Memorial Day 2026

On this Memorial Day, let’s pause to honor the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives in service to our nation. Their courage and commitment remind us of the high cost of freedom and the precious gift of peace.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”

The Bible calls us “peacemakers”, those who actively seek to bring peace, justice, and reconciliation. Many who have given their lives embody this calling in its fullest form, standing in harm’s way so others may live in safety.

As we remember and give thanks, reflect on the ultimate peace given to us through Jesus Christ. He is our Prince of Peace who brings eternal rest and hope beyond this life. Through His sacrifice, we are offered peace with God and the promise of everlasting life.
