Jesus is offering us a profound promise… when we come to Him in prayer, asking in His name, He will answer. But what does it mean to ask “in Jesus’ name”?

To ask in His name means more than just ending our prayers with “in Jesus’ name, amen.” It means coming to God with faith that aligns with Who Jesus is, our Savior, our Advocate, the One who intercedes on our behalf. It means trusting in His character, His power, and His will. When we pray in Jesus’ name, we acknowledge that it is through Him that we have access to the Father and that any answer we receive is granted according to His perfect love and wisdom.

This verse also reminds us that prayer is not just a ritual or a wish list but a powerful conversation with the One who cares deeply about our needs and desires. It encourages us to approach God confidently, knowing that He hears us and is able to act on our behalf.
