Today’s Thoughts – 1 Jun 2026

It’s Monday and I didn’t get up till 1 this afternoon, so not much is went on today. Kimmie did tell me it’s the first of June, which means she wants her monthly spending money. I did take Kimmie to get her daily fountain soda and snack, and when we got back I started my reading journey in Psalm 119. Yesterday I left off at verse 28, today I made it to verse 35 where David expresses a heartfelt desire to be guided by God’s commands.

“Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, For I delight in it.”
Psalm 119:35

David doesn’t just seek direction for the sake of following rules, but because he finds genuine delight in walking the path God sets before him. This reveals a deep truth… God’s guidance is not a burden… it’s a source of joy and fulfillment.

Folks, take a few minutes tonight to ask God to direct your steps. Invite Him to show you the way where His truth will bring you peace and joy. Instead of seeing obedience as obligation, embrace it as a way to experience God’s goodness more deeply.

Where do you need God’s direction right now?

Have a blessed evening!
Bobby
